Shep Zebberman

saz.portraito1Attorney Shep Zebberman has over 22 years of experience representing clients in both criminal, civil and juvenile cases as well as in complex Federal and State Court litigation cases. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1991 and is licensed to practice before all Courts in the State of California and before the United States District Court for the Central District.

After receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law, Mr. Zebberman worked for three years at the law firm of Huang & Baner. He then moved on to establish his own practice, in 1994, which concentrated on criminal defense, juvenile law and business law.

Over the course of his long-standing career, Shep Zebberman has successfully completed numerous jury trials, court trials, administrative hearings, and arbitrations. In 2001 he was appointed to serve as a Juvenile Court Referee where he presided over Delinquency, Dependency, and Informal Juvenile Traffic Courts for the Los Angeles Superior Court on an as-needed basis. In 2005 he was honored with a full-time appointment presiding over Dept. 204 of Eastlake Juvenile Court, Los Angeles Superior Court, presiding over juvenile delinquency cases. In 2012 he was honored with an appointment as a Civil Service Hearing Examiner for the Los Angeles County Board of Commissioners. He has served as a Judge Pro Tem and Arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court as well as an Arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association and Kaiser Permanente Office of the Independent Administrator (OIA).

Currently, the Law Offices of Shep Zebberman represent both adults and juveniles in a variety of cases, including criminal, juvenile and administrative law. In 2008, Mr. Zebberman was awarded the National Association of Counties National Achievement Award for the “Best In” category of Criminal Justice and Public Safety. In law school, he was also awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Real Property and Criminal Law.

Attorney Zebberman also teaches at the International Pacific School of Law, where he holds the position of adjunct professor. He previously taught at the University of West Los Angeles-School of Paralegal Studies. Mr. Zebberman has had the privilege to be a guest presenter at numerous training sessions for the L.A. County Probation Department.

In addition to his legal expertise, Shep Zebberman has been a licensed California real estate broker for over 20 years and has worked in the industry for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and completed training at the prestigious B.E. Wilkin Judicial College. He served three years in the Golani Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces and was honorably discharged with the rank of First Sergeant.

Vincent W. Lin was admitted to the California Bar in 1993. He obtained his LLM from the University of Pennsylvania law School in 1985 and his Bachelor of Law degree from Soochow University, Taipei, Taiwan. He adds to the firm a very diverse background having represented clients on a variety of complex matters for almost 20 years. He is fluent in Mandarin and has earned a reputation in the community as being trustworthy, dedicated, diligent and highly intelligent. His legal expertise, integrity and understanding of the local community has made him a valuable asset to the firm.



Lucia Lobato

She received her B.A from the University of California, Los Angeles, shortly thereafter joining UCLA Law School’s esteemed Law Fellows program. She has gained valuable experience working with various community, non-profit organizations specializing in education and juvenile delinquency. She not only provides the attorney support with a wide variety of daily office functions, she also provides excellent customer service to the firm’s clients. Lucia has outstanding administrative and communication skills and is fluent in English and Spanish. She is a vital asset in assisting the firm’s attorneys and clientele in achieving high quality representation.
